ADAPTIVE STRATEGY
Created during a residency at Nes Artist Residency in Skagaströnd, Adaptive Strategy is a short dance film exploring how people navigate discomfort, and the ways we try to stay comfortable to avoid it. Inspired by the stark landscapes of Iceland and the rhythms of the local community, the movement and camera work are shaped by environment, space, and human interaction. The film becomes a meditation on adaptation, revealing how our coping strategies can both protect and limit us.
